Tuna Cross Road Bridge

This new bridge is a two span prestressed concrete box beam structure with a reinforced concrete deck constructed in 2006 for a cost of $1,942,421. Each span of the new bridge is approximately 100 ft long. The abutments, pier and wingwalls are reinforced concrete which are supported by steel monotube piles. The bridge has two 9 ft traffic lanes, a 5 ft shoulder, a 6 ft shoulder and a 5 ft sidewalk. The old bridge was closed to all traffic on April 5, 1979.
